What is a critical step?

A step you must do to pass the skill, such as locking the wheelchair before a transfer. Missing one fails that skill even if every other step is right. Prometric does not publish its critical steps, so for Prometric states every step counts.

Your state’s exact list. Each testing company, and sometimes each state, uses its own list, from 15 to 26 skills. The coach shows the one for your state and vendor, with skills your state does not test left out.
