Display advertising
The site may show advertising from third-party ad networks. Ads appear in ad units that are separate from the page content, and ad networks decide which ads appear. Showing an ad does not mean the site endorses the advertiser.
Sponsored program listings
There are no sponsored listings on the site at present. If schools are offered sponsored placements in the future, each one will be labeled “Sponsored” and shown apart from the official lists. Sponsored placements will never be mixed into, reordered within, or used to change the IPEDS college lists or the state-approved program lists.
Affiliate links
There are no affiliate links on the site at present. If links to products such as exam preparation are added through affiliate programs, they will be labeled.
No influence over content
Advertisers and sponsors have no say over data, rankings, or text. How pages are written and checked is described in the editorial policy.
